Lockie Gilding
Director
Lockie started his career with wildlife at the age of 15 when he secured an internship with a large zoological facility in southern Queensland. After gathering 5 years experience within this facility, Lockie then moved into the ecology field, conducting fauna surveys and habitat assessments across the country. Despite this, Lockie’s main passion has always been wildlife photography - a passion which has led him around the world photographing wildlife since he was 16 years old.
In 2015 Lockie decided to make his passion a career when he co-founded Australian Wildlife Encounters with fellow wildlife photographer and good friend Max Jackson.
